EUSA Rules and Regulations for Athletics will be confirmed before the opening of registrations
1. How long is the competition expected to last?
The competition will last three days, according to the following schedule:
Day -1: Arrivals
Day 0: Trainings and GTM
Day 1: Competition Day
Day 2: Competition Day
Day 3: Competition Day
Day 4: Departures
2. What is the delegation size?
EUSA Athletics is organised as a team competition. Each university may register one men's team and one womens team, each composed of 4 athletes.
Therefore, the maximum total university delegation is:
- 4 male athletes;
- 4 female athletes;
- 4 officials.
Registration of one team, for example womens team only, is allowed and should be as below:
- 4 female athletes;
- 2 officials;
3. Will it be necessary to register the HoD (head of delegation) and Official?
Yes. Two (2) teams officials for each university team (HoD and Official) is mandatory.
4. Will there be any individual competition?
Yes. Universities may register “additional individual entries”. They can represent universities that are not already registered as a team.However, additional individual entries will not be eligible for the team awards. Additional individual entries are eligible for the individual titles.
Specific registration proccess for individual athletes will be communicated.
5. What awards are there?

6. What is the teams scoring system?
The scoring system for the team classification is designed to reward top performances across all
disciplines, encouraging balanced team participation. Points will be awarded from 1st to 8th place
in each competition:
● 1st place: 6 points
● 2nd place: 5 points
● 3rd place: 4 points
● 4th place: 3 points
● 5th place: 2 points
● 6th place: 1 point
● 7th and 8th place: 0 points
Points are only awarded to those who start final events.
In relays, teams earn points according to the scoring system described above, with an additional point awarded for participating in the optional sector (1 point for each relay).
In the case of 4x100m Mx relays, the points earned are awarded to both genders (e.g., the relay team came in first in the 4x100m Mx: this would be 6 points + 1 extra point, so each gender scores 7 points).
7. What is the sports programme?

8. What sporting requirements are necessary for athletes?
All athletes must be registered with WA, with a valid and up-to-date ID.
9. How many disciplines and sectors each athlete can participate?
Athletes are allowed to participate in a maximum of two individual disciplines or two sectors plus relays.
10. Can individual Athletes participate in Relays?
No, they can’t, as they’re not part of the team competition.
